MIAMI GARDENS, FL –Amscot is set to celebrate Family Fun Day at its Miami Gardens branch at 19839 NW 2nd Avenue on Saturday, February 25th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. As part of the Family Fun Day celebration, Amscot will be donating $3,000 to The Mayor’s Annual Laptop Giveaway.
The Mayor’s Annual Laptop Giveaway rewards 500 college-bound seniors from Miami Carol City Senior High, Miami Norland Senior High and Miami Northwestern Senior High with new laptops. The giveaways take place during the school’s end-of-year award ceremony where recipients are selected by counselors and teachers from each school.
In addition to supporting The Mayor’s Annual Laptop Giveaway, the event will also offer an array of activities for families. There will be opportunities to win Jazz in the Gardens tickets throughout the event and free refreshments and lunch will be provided. Bike helmets will be given to the first 100 kids to arrive and there will be radio station giveaways from 99 JAMZ as they broadcast live from Amscot’s parking lot. An Amscot recruiter will be on hand to talk about the many exciting career opportunities available with Amscot.
