ORLANDO FL – Amscot Financial has stepped forward as a $10,000 Sponsor in an upcoming dinner benefiting 100 Black Men of America’s Orlando Chapter. The dinner is part of the chapter’s “Project Success Program,” which will provide scholarships to African American high school students graduating in 2016. The dinner is slated for Saturday, June 11th at 6pm.

“We believe strongly in supporting scholarship opportunities that reward and empower those students who have worked so hard to excel,” says Ian MacKechnie, Amscot’s founder, chairmen and CEO. “Today’s college students will become tomorrow’s workforce, and we want to help ensure the best and brightest have access to the education and support they need.”

To date, the program has helped produce 24 bachelor’s degree graduates, four master’s degree graduates, as well as a law school graduate. In addition to this scholarship program, the organization focuses on the development of youth through several key areas including mentoring, education, health, wellness and economic development.

The dinner will be held at Rosen Centre Hotel, at 9840 International Drive, Orlando, Florida. A nationally prominent keynote speaker is anticipated.
