Miami, FL – (March 8, 2017) – For the fifth consecutive year Amscot Financial, a leading provider of convenient, consumer-oriented financial services, is pleased to be a sponsor of the Annual Calle Ocho festival, scheduled to take place on March 12th in the heart of Miami’s Little Havana district.
Organized by the Kiwanis of Little Havana, Calle Ocho is the largest Hispanic street festival in the Southeastern United States. More than one million event-goers from around the world join the internationally renowned block party to celebrate Hispanic cultures from around the world on Miami’s legendary Calle Ocho (8th street.) The 19-block strip in Little Havana will vibrate with the hip-shaking rhythms of Latin music from salsa to hip-hop, including street performers and eight dedicated stages. Block after block of Little Havana full of international food, dance, sampling sites, musical stages, and family entertainment to celebrate life and all Hispanic ethnicities. All proceeds benefit the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation’s youth development programs.

Amscot associates will participate in the festival at the Amscot booth, where associates will invite patrons to spin a Carnaval prize wheel and present winners with bike helmets bearing Amscot’s name.
