On July 22, Amscot Financial contributed 350 bike helmets to children at the Bithlo Community Center in east Orange County. The contribution was part of a back-to-school event designed to get schoolchildren fully equipped for the school year.
In addition to the free bike helmets, Bithlo area schoolchildren also received free backpacks, notebook paper, pencils and other school supplies from other corporate sponsors participating in the event.
Amscot Financial worked with the office of Orange County Commissioner Bill Segal to get the helmets delivered and distributed.
