The Central Florida Children’s Home, Inc.

Amscot Financial presented a $1,000 contribution to The Central Florida Children’s Home, Inc. which was founded in 1973 by Eastland Baptist Church. Their mission is to care for children whose parents either cannot or will not provide for them due to family difficulties. Individual and entire families of children live at the Central Florida Children’s Home, thus keeping siblings from being separated. An emphasis is placed on academic achievement to ensure that the children are well prepared for higher academic studies or vocational training for the job market. The children are also assigned chores and responsibilities to help develop character and discipline. Amscot Financial’s contribution will help purchase day-to-day items needed to take care of the children.
