Amscot held a grand opening on Saturday, September 23 at Branch No. 104 at 501 W. Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka. At the event, Amscot presented a $1,000 contribution to Apopka Coalition To Improve Our Neighborhood (ACTION, Inc.)
ACTION is a coalition of concerned citizens and organizations promoting the economic, social, and environmental development of South Apopka through coordination of volunteers, public and private sector resources, and serves as a central point for planning, coordination and implementation of community programs and act ivies ties. It is committed to developing a responsive community network among all participants.
ACTION’s goals are:
- To assure that residents have the opportunity for self sufficiency through education, job training and employment. To assure that all residents are able to live with assurances of safety and security.
