MIAMI, FL – Amscot is set to celebrate the Open House Family Fun Day of its Miami branch at 8099 South Dixie Highway on Saturday, April 9th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As part of the open house celebration, Amscot will be donating $500 to the Red Cross Aquatics Centennial Campaign. The Red Cross delivers Learn-to-Swim courses to people of all ages, but especially to children who might not otherwise have an opportunity to receive this lifesaving training. Their other programs include developing lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors and giving hands on water safety CPR training to parents and caregivers.
In addition to supporting the Red Cross Aquatics Centennial Campaign, the open house event will also offer an array of activities for families. Everyone wins something when they spin our prize wheel, including a $100 Publix Gift Card for one lucky person! Bike helmets will be given to the first 100 kids to arrive and there will be radio station giveaways from Y100 FM as they broadcast live from Amscot’s parking lot. Free refreshments and lunch from Pollo Tropical will be provided and there will be giveaways from Western Union.
